Singer and songwriter John Denver touched millions of people and reached superstar status with his folk-based pop songs with a lot of them being set in Colorado. Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. was born in Roswell New Mexico. However, he was enthralled by Colorado. He eventually settled in Aspen. Denver's famous anthems about Colorado have inspired many people to relocate to Colorado. I don't think there's any other performer who embodies Colorado like John Denver said G.
